What is Foreign Policy?Foreign Policy is a nations policy regarding international relations. Most countries switch between four types of Foreign Policy. These four types are part of the foreign policy spectrum.
Isolationism: Non-involvement in the affairs of other nations Collective Security: Working with other countries to influence nations Internationalism: Intervening individually in other countries to promote important national interest and/or safeguard international security Imperialism: extending power by acquiring territory or overthrowing weaker nations to serve national interest |
